A teenager was arrested Monday after he was discovered by police with a shotgun.

According to prosecutors, a 15-year-old male was seen acting suspicious by officers near parked cars around Broadway and Viola.

When officers approached him, police say he fled the scene.

The male was subsequently arrested and the gun, a  sawed-off Mossberg International 702 Plinkster, was recovered.

He has been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and taken to Camden County Juvenile Detention Center.
