A teenager is dead and two are injured after an accident on Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia Saturday night, according to multiple media reports.
6ABC reports the accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when a 19-year-old driver lost control of his car on the Boulevard near Woodward Street, hitting a pole.
The impact split his vehicle in half. The driver was ejected and half of his car hit another vehicle when it careened into traffic, and a third car hit the teen's vehicle.
The drivers of the other two cars were taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The teenage driver's identity has not yet been released.
