Ten-time Grammy award winner Taylor Swift will not be attending this year's ceremony, marking the third consecutive year the Reading, Berks County, native has skipped the event.
Swift is presently spending most of her time in London, working on the set of "Cats." It's possible Swift is staying the U.K. partially to attend the British Academy Film Awards, also scheduled for this Sunday, where "The Favourite," featuring her boyfriend Joe Alwyn, is nominated for 10 awards.

Despite 32 Grammy nominations to her name, Swift received only one nomination this year for her most recent album, "Reputation," at this year's show. She's up for the Pop Vocal Performance alongside Pink, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson, and Camila Cabello. Some outlets have considered the single nomination a snub, as "Reputation" was eligible in eight different categories.
News that Swift will miss the Grammys also is met with the news that Super Bowl LIII halftime performers Maroon 5 also will skipping the show. The band has one nomination in the Pop Duo/Group Performance category for "Girls Like You."
We do know that the show, hosted by Alicia Keys, will welcome K-pop sensation BTS, the world's most googled band last year. Other performances include Cardi B, Camilla Cabello, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Janelle Monáe, and Diana Ross, who is receiving the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
