Before the Philadelphia Phillies' night game on April 8, Mike and Kelly Goldovich will host a tailgate benefitting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. The charity organization raises funds for research into new treatments and cures for all children battling cancer.
The annual tailgate began in 2010 and has grown more popular in recent years. In 2016, the tailgate raised $11,500 for the foundation.
Tickets to the event are $30 per person, or $10 per child. The ticket includes beverages, food, music and games.
There will be kegs of beer, spiked lemonade and Jell-O shots for the 21-plus crowd.
As for food, attendees can expect burgers, hot dogs, tomato pie, hoagies, pretzels and other snacks.
While adults play beer pong or other tailgate classics, kids can hang out in their own area with kid-friendly games.
The family-friendly tailgate will take place in lot K, by Lincoln Financial Field.
