An unidentified 57-year-old man died after a hit-and-run accident in Kensington Thursday night.
According to CBSPhilly, the victim was driving a church van filled with church members to an event at around 10 p.m. when, after having exited his vehicle near Front and Diamond streets, he was reportedly struck by the driver of a dark green or black mid-size car.
The victim was said to have been dragged about 15 feet and was left unconscious with trauma to his head and face, CBSPhilly reports.
He later died at Temple University Hospital. Police are searching for the driver.
