The brains behind the operation at Eakins Oval have a lot more in store this year for Philadelphians wanting a sampling of local food truck fare, refreshment and live music along the parkway. Fairmount Park Conservancy and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation cut the ribbon on an all-new installation, attraction and interactive design on Wednesday, thanks to the people at PORT Urbanism, a Philly- and Chicago-based design consultant that brings together architects, urban designers and strategic landscape thinkers.
