Stream sold-out Philadelphia Orchestra concert for free Thursday

The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.

The Philadelphia Orchestra will present the next installment of its Neighborhood Concert Series on Thursday, July 30 at The Kimmel Center. All tickets to this latest free concert, meant to gather nontraditional orchestra-goers for a special night out, were reserved in under 24 hours.

Luckily for those who didn't get tickets, the Orchestra will be live streaming the event online for free as well. Principal Guest Conductor Stéphane Denève will lead the orchestra through the works of John Williams, Jennifer Higdon, Leonard Bernstein, Hector Berlioz and Maurice Ravel. The concert will be available the world at philorch.org/livestream and the performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. 

Those sitting in the Kimmel Center audience will be able to use the Orchestra's LiveNote mobile app to view annotations and historical notes throughout the concert.
