A store owner was stabbed in the face during a robbery in Northeast Philadelphia Monday, CBSPhilly reports.
The incident occurred at the “We Buy Gold” store in the 8000 block of Frankford Ave. in the Holmesburg section of the city around 11 a.m.
The suspect stabbed the store’s owner in the face during a robbery and made off with approximately $1,000 in cash, police said.
The suspect, described as a Hispanic male wearing a black jacket, black tie and blue shirt, was last seen traveling southbound on Frankford Avenue in a black GMC truck with unknown tags.
The owner was rushed to Aria Health’s Torresdale Hospital in an unknown condition.
