The Boss had a small parting gift for President Barack Obama as he prepares to leave office – a private show just for him, first lady Michelle Obama and his staff.
New Jersey's Bruce Springsteen played a 15-song set for the outgoing commander in chief Jan. 12, days after his farewell address to the nation, according to superfan blog and fanzine Backstreets.com.

There were about 250 people in the White House's East Room, with no celebrity guests in sight, according to the website.
Backstreets.com described the acoustic show as a "fever dream" with "a dream of a setlist."
Springsteen played the set as a "thank you" to the president and his staff, according to the site. The Garden State native has been very vocal about his disapproval of President-elect Donald Trump, calling him a "flagrant, toxic narcissist" with British broadcaster Channel 4 News in October.
Springsteen was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor, in November.
