Artist Kristy Rice will be at Mt. Airy's Big Blue Marble Bookstore on June 26 for a free art event. Rice will give a watercoloring lesson and provide pages from her adult watercoloring books for guests.
She currently has three books out: "Painterly Days," "Painterly Days Woodlands" and "Painterly Days Patterns." Each contains 25 sketches.
While the event is free, reservations are required. The art lesson and group painting session starts at 4 p.m.
Rice's artwork has been featured on the products of well-known paper brands like Papyrus and on products of brands like Target and Anthropologie's BHLDN.
