With sunny skies hitting the area this weekend, it's a great time to head to a flea market and enjoy shopping in the open air. Might as well make it on top of a roof, while you're at it.
The Whole Foods located on South Street will be hosting a rooftop flea market, Whole Flea, this Saturday, August 29, from 12-5 p.m., the grocer announced on Facebook.
More than 35 local artisans will be on hand for the event, which benefits the Whole Kids Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to educating kids about healthy eating by providing schools with grants for gardens, salad bars and related educational programs.
Vendors will be selling everything from jewelry, art and body products to antiques, clothing and accessories, and food and beverages.
There will also be live music and arts & crafts with the Whole Kids Club.
