South Jersey resident Franco Silvestri, 32, was charged Friday with distribution and possession of child pornography, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
Detectives from the High Tech Crimes Unit of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office executed a search warrant on the Barrington man.
They seized Silvestri’s cellphone for analysis. A preview of the device's contents showed a download history of child pornography, authorities allege.
Silvestri was arrested and charged with two counts.
Aiding in the case are the Cherry Hill division of Homeland Security Investigations and the Waterford Township Police Department.
