A two-hour search Saturday night for a 4-year-old South Jersey boy ended with sad news when the child's body was found in a community swimming pool, ShoreNewsToday reports.
The child, who has not been identified, was first reported missing by his parents from their home in Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County, at around 9 p.m. on Saturday. The parents reported the child unknowingly got out of their residence in the London Court condominium complex.
After a two-hour search assisted by local police, K-9 teams, the state Forest Fire Service bloodhounds and a New Jersey State Police helicopter, the child's body was found and recovered from a pool located in the condominium complex.
