Phase One of the Rail Park consists of a quarter-mile section that stretches from Broad Street to 12th Street.
We have been waiting for The Rail Park for quite some time and it finally made its grand unveiling this week, so we're curious to see how people are reacting.
If you haven't yet visited, the new addition to Philly's public parks just opened to the public on Thursday. It's open 24/7 now, so go take a look sometime this weekend and tell me what you think.
Is there enough seating? Do you like the design? Does it feel welcoming?
So many questions.
Here are some initial reactions we found on social media.
It's much wider than the High Line for sure. When completed, it'll be longer too.

An interesting medley of views, ranging from modernity to history to remnants of manufacturing decay. pic.twitter.com/TJa1IHgsOA
Plaques with quotes in different languages. Art strewn around. I hate saying this as a New Yorker but so far @TheRailPark is a little bit cooler than the @highlinenyc. pic.twitter.com/CVMhbAORxu

Our new elevated park is open in Philly right near my house! Think the #HighLine without the crowds. Built on a 19th century disused rail viaduct that’s been decaying for decades. 🏭🌳🏢#Callowhill #Eraserhood https://t.co/NVFqfHUjiy pic.twitter.com/ijzcj9xbVQ
