Freezing rain, sleet glaze roads, impacts morning commute

Motorists should exercise care in the slippery conditions.

A mix of snow, freezing rain and sleet overnight Monday has resulted in ice-coated roads and sidewalks, impacting the Tuesday morning commute. 

Untreated roads will likely be dangerous, forecasters say.

The rest of the week is supposed to be pretty clear, with snow showers possible for Thursday accompanied by high winds, according to Weather.com. The warm temperatures experienced over the weekend will drop as the week goes on, with a low in the single digits possible for Friday.

: Chances of snow before 8 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 40. North wind 11 to 14 mph.
