The night of Friday, March 6 children ages 2 to 5 can attend a special "Artime Pajama Tour." The tiny tots come clad in their PJs (it is close to bedtime, after all) and get a special tour of the galleries. This edition of the tour focuses on "Spying Blue." As they tramp around, participants will try to find that color in the Barnes' works. With all of the foundation's impressionist works, it shouldn't be hard to find!
The Barnes will also host a similar event, "Artime Storytime: Vincent's Colors" Thursday, March 12. This event, running twice at 10:30-11 a.m. and noon-11:30 a.m., is for ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers. They'll read "Vincent's Colors" and learn about his techniques before decorating a uniform.
