Joel Embiid appeared to suffer a left foot sprain during the Sixers' Christmas Day victory in Boston.

Joel Embiid is questionable for the Sixers' Thursday night road contest against the Golden State Warriors due to a left foot sprain, according to the team's initial injury report.

Embiid, who appeared to suffer the foot strain near the end of the team's Christmas Day victory in Boston, has played in two of the Sixers' three contests since. He sat out on Wednesday night, resting on the front end of a back-to-back as the Sixers collapsed late in the game and fell to the Sacramento Kings.

It is worth noting that "left foot sprain" is Embiid's lone designation on the report. Since returning after suffering a sinus fracture, the team would always add the designation of "sinus fracture; mask," which was not present as of this writing. It could mean that Embiid is no longer planning on wearing the mask, but it could also be an oversight or simply no longer necessary for the team to list it. At the very least, it is something to keep an eye on whenever Embiid does play next.

Additionally, Andre Drummond (left toe sprain) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (left hand sprain) will be in street clothes for this matchup, as they are both listed as out. Drummond missed three consecutive games before playing well in his return to action in Sacramento, while Oubre sat out that game -- his first missed contest of the season -- and appears to be set to be on the sidelines for another. Guerschon Yabusele is now the only Sixers player to appear in every game this season, with 31 appearances under his belt.

Not listed on the injury report was Paul George, who had a brilliant opening act in Sacramento but got worse as the game went on after taking this hard fall on his back:

While the Sixers needed to use a timeout to help George recover at the time, he never went to the locker room, so it did not appear to be a serious injury. But for a 34-year-old on the second night of a back-to-back, some sort of injury designation would not have been surprising. It appears the Sixers have caught a break on that front.

Meanwhile, Warriors superstar Stephen Curry remains questionable for the game with a right thumb sprain, while Draymond Green is probable with a left low back contusion.
