Joel Embiid is questionable for the Sixers' road contest against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday evening, according to the team's initial injury report for the game.
Embiid is dealing with a left foot sprain, which he appeared to suffer near the end of the Sixers' dramatic win over the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day. He has only missed one game since then, though, and was only designated with "rest" in that contest — the Sixers' Wednesday night collapse against the Kings in Sacramento. He returned to action on Thursday night, but the Sixers were blown out by Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
Kelly Oubre Jr., who has missed two straight games due to a left hand sprain, is doubtful for Sixers-Nets with the same injury. Oubre had been one of two Sixers to appear in every game through 30 regular season contests, Guerschon Yabusele is now the lone Sixers to have played in all 32 of the team's games.
Andre Drummond, who missed three games due to a left toe sprain, returned on Wednesday night and played well, but missed Thursday's game. Drummond was not listed on the injury report for Saturday's game whatsoever, an encouraging sign regarding his availability moving forward.
