Joel Embiid is not in the NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans, and all of Philadelphia is up in arms over "The Process" getting snubbed. Why is that? Well, because Paul Millsap is a very impactful (if somewhat boring) player that has played twice as many minutes as Embiid on the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. And with the all-star game factoring into current earning potential and Hall of Fame consideration — When is the last time you heard someone say, "He was third-team All-NBA four times" instead of "seven-time all-star?" — we both think that sort of stuff should matter.
We also talk about the Sixers' recent winning ways (without Embiid, believe it or not), Nerlens Noel and Richaun Holmes, and plenty more on this week's episode. As always, if you like the Sixers, this is one of at least five podcasts for you:
