This year's Shakespeare in Clark Park (SCP) production will be "The Two Gentlemen of Verona." Beginning on July 27, there will be five nights of performances. Each will start at 7 p.m. in the park.

The William Shakespeare play is a comedy, where two friends, Valentine and Proteus, fall for the same girl. Just like in any modern day rom-com, there are a lot of missed connections, mistaken identities and miscommunication.

This year, SCP will be partnering with community dance group Lindy and Blues to bring a dance element to the theater production.

SCP is also partnering with the PSPCA on July 29, when play attendees are encouraged to bring their canine companions for the show.
