Caramel Pretzel Custard will be paired with Yards Love Stout.
Fans of burgers and beer listen up. On Aug. 16 Shake Shack in University City will host a four-course meal, paired with Yards Brewing Company brews. Each course is full-size too -- no sliders here -- so come hungry.
Tickets to attend the event are $35 per person and at the end of the meal everyone votes on which beer deserves a spot on tap for the rest of the year.
The four rounds of food and beer pairings:
- High-Heat Dog (hot dog with cheese sauce and cherry peppers) and crinkle cut fries, served with Yards IPA
- Bacon CheddarShack (all-natural Angus beef hamburger topped with smoked Niman Ranch bacon and Wisconsin aged cheddar cheese sauce), served with Yards ESA
- Chick’n Shack (crispy 100 percent all-natural and antibiotic-free chicken breast with lettuce, pickles and buttermilk herb mayo), served with Philadelphia Pale Ale
- Caramel Pretzel Custard, paired with a Love Stout beer float
