A person was fatally struck by a southbound SEPTA Regional Rail train Monday afternoon in the Jenkintown area, prompting the agency to suspend service along its West Trenton Line for several hours.
SEPTA officials said the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on the tracks near Rydal Station, which is located at 1470 Susquehanna Road.
West Trenton: Trains are experiencing delays of up to 30 minutes due to a fatality.
