Each summer, the Screenings Under the Stars series occurs along the Delaware River.
Tonight, July 9, the Delaware River Waterfront Corp. begins its Screenings Under the Stars series of free movies at the Penn's Landing Great Plaza. Presented by Mix 106.1 and CBS 3 and The CW Philly, each Thursday night through Aug. 27 will feature a blockbuster movie on the big screen at dusk.
Since the showings are free, they tend to fill up fast, so be sure to get there early to find a seat. The movies are all family-friendly, too, with decades-old classics mixed in with recent hits.
