A father doled out some holiday cheer for shoppers at a Cherry Hill Toys "R" Us store on Friday.
The good Samaritan identified himself in a CBS3 report as Charlie K. He told the station that he was in a giving mood when he went out shopping for his son early on Black Friday.

So he headed to Toys "R" Us and paid for items that customers had on layaway.
The man reportedly paid for roughly 62 orders, spending some $10,780. He didn't pay for all layaway items that the store, but he covered a significant chunk, according to the report.
“I’m trying to bring some happiness to people, to the community that brought happiness to me and my family,” he told the station. "I love this community and I am trying to provide back to it.”
He also said he had everyone in the store pick out three items that he then purchased for Toys for Tots.
The toy retail chain's layaway option allows customers to make a down payment on a purchase and reserve items until customers can make a final payment before receiving or picking up their purchase.
