Philadelphia comedian Kevin Hart was featured in an NPR Tiny Desk Concert video as his rapper alter ego, Chocolate Droppa, for April Fools' Day. In it, which he claimed was entirely freestyle, he said he planned to drop a new album.

Kevin Hart will attend a 'wild' bachelor party in upcoming Netflix comedy

Kevin Hart will star in the upcoming Netflix comedy, '72 Hours.' In the film, the Philly native comedian plays a 40-year-old executive who's accidentally added to a bachelor party group text and decides to go on the 'wild' trip in hopes it may save his career. The movie will mark the fifth collaboration between Hart and director Tim Story.

Kevin Hart adds fourth 'Acting My Age' comedy show at The Met due to 'overwhelming demand'

Kevin Hart has added another Philadelphia show to the end of his 'Acting My Age' comedy tour. The comedian will be at The Met from Dec. 4-7. A presale for the Dec. 7 show begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16. The general sale begins at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18. The first three shows are sold out.

Kevin Hart to receive prestigious Mark Twain Prize for American Humor

Comedian and actor Kevin Hart will become the 25th winner of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor presented by the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The North Philadelphia native will join a list of past winners that includes Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Tina Fey, Dave Chappelle and Adam Sandler. He'll be given the award at a Kennedy Center gala on March 24, 2024.

Trailer for new Kevin Hart movie, 'Lift,' unveiled by Eagles mascot Swoop

The first tailer for 'Lift,' Kevin Hart's upcoming Netflix movie,' shows the comedian trying to steal $500 million in gold while on an airplane. The movie will begin streaming Friday, Jan. 12. The trailer was released Sunday during the Eagles-Cowboys game during a segment featuring Eagles mascot Swoop.
