Sabra Dipping Co. has voluntarily recalled many of its hummus dips due to possible listeria contamination.
According to a press release issued Saturday by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the company is telling consumers to discard any hummus product with a “Best Before” date up through Jan. 23, 2017.
A full list of the recalled items’ descriptions can be found here, including the barcode numbers, flavors and container sizes.
The FDA noted the recall resulted from a contamination identified in products at a manufacturing facility, but at this time, there haven't been any illnesses reported by customers ingesting a purchased product.
Consumers can contact Sabra Consumer Relations at 1-866-265-6761 for additional information from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern time. For product reimbursement, consumers can contact www.sabrahummusrecall.com.
