It was a sad day for many when the iconic King of Jeans sign showing a scantily clad denim duo smooching was dismantled from the now-closed and demolished clothing store on Passyunk Avenue in South Philadelphia.
But as of today, Nov. 30, the sign is back – well, a version of it is. A new and similar sign, this one focused on the woman, has appeared on the avenue outside South Fellini, a clothing store.
According to the Passyunk Post, South Fellini has been incorporating the role-reversed design into T-shirts and merchandise sold at the store for awhile now.
But the Queen of Jeans sign is brand-new.
