Remember that time Bret Michaels had to be physically separated from Poison bassist Bobby Dall during an Atlanta, Ga. concert in the summer of 2006? Michaels whipped his mic at Dall and Dall retaliated by slamming his bass into Michaels, and the band ended up apologizing to the audience.

Well, that’s bound to happen when original bandmates – Michaels, Dall, Ricki Rockett and C.C. DeVille – have been together for more than three decades. They are like brothers, and quarrel from time to time. Sometimes it’s behind the scenes, and other times, it’s totally unplanned and in the public eye.
But don’t expect that to happen when Poison performs Saturday at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J., and again on Sunday at the PPL Center in Allentown, Penn.
They’re touring with Cheap Trick and Pop Evil, and fans can expect all the high-energy rock and roll hits.
“Touring is the best part of what it is that we do,” Dall said during a recent interview with PhillyVoice.
“The interaction between being on the live stage with the fans is such an adrenaline rush…it’s better than sex. That really is what being in a rock and roll band is all about.”
Poison, known around the world for hits like “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” “Nothin’ but a Good Time,” “Your Mama Don’t Dance” and so many more, has been at it for 35 years now.
Like brothers, Dall said the chemistry between his bandmates ebbs and flows throughout the years.
“When you’re in a band, in such close proximity, you basically live together,” he said.
“There’s no other way to explain it. I don’t want to isolate the fact that there’s public knowledge that me and Bret have had a tiff. I’ve had a tiff with every member of this band at one point or another. You can’t spend 35 years together and not have fights occasionally…But I have no ill will towards Bret…We fight like brothers. Why we had that tiff on stage – he’s never answered the question, nor have I. We’ll leave it at that."
