Police say that a Facebook post about recently acquired jewelry may have prompted a robbery that occurred early Sunday night, 6 ABC reports.

Three armed suspects broke in to an apartment in the Somerton section of Philadelphia around 2:30 a.m., taking jewelry and cell phones from the three men that were inside. A witness said the men got in to a car with a Colorado license plate and sped off.

According to investigators, one of the victims had recently made a Facebook post about acquiring jewelry from inheritance, which may have been the reason for the incident.

Matt DeLucia of NBC 10 posted a picture to twitter of a cell phone found near the scene:

Police say that no one is in custody and they are still looking for the three suspects.
