Captain Kirk may have been the lead in Star Trek, but Mr. Spock, as played by Leonard Nimoy, was the star of the show.
With his arched eyebrow and devotion to emotionless logic, he was easily Star Trek fans favorite character and with Nimoy's passing, devoted watchers of the show took to Twitter and other social media to be...well emotional.
First, his last goodbye.
A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP

My favorite Leonard Nimoy quote. Guess it could even apply to Twitter... not to mention... life. #RIPSpock pic.twitter.com/WKDn0PeNP5
