Revolution Taco, the Rittenhouse eatery from the team behind the Street Food Philly, Taco Mondo and Say Cheese food trucks, has a new menu item. But shhhh, it's a "secret."
The new item, a "secret" burger that will be served at the location beginning this week, is off-menu and can't be found on their website. It can only be ordered by request at the counter. Furthermore, only six of the burgers will be made per day.
Dubbed the Revolution Burger, it's made with Indian Ridge local dry-age beef blend of rib-eye and t-bone, served on a brioche roll from Breakin' Bread Bakery with house bacon, Cooper cheese, roasted poblano crema and avocado chimichurri sauce. The not-so-secret item is available for $10 a pop.
The burger is a fan favorite from Street Food Philly, thus its appearance at the team's brick-and-mortar. They've also added a Three Little Pigs Taco (featuring pork shoulder, pork belly, house-made bacon) and chorizo as a burrito/bowl option to the menu.
