A new restaurant has opened in Rittenhouse, in the space that use to be Astral Plane, and it's pretty eclectic.
Keen, owned by husband and wife Chris and Caitlin Rorer, is described as "a marriage between an approachable neighborhood tavern and a carefully curated art space."

"This was as much a restaurant build out as it was a large-scale art project. All of our pieces and installations are hand-made and built specifically for Keen — from the salvaged driftwood staircase to our hand-laid glass bar top," said Caitlin Rorer.
The restaurant is bi-level with upstairs and downstairs bars, 40-seat dining room and lounge area called The Living Room.
Make sure to check out the seven-seat downstairs bar with "sexy rainstorm" décor and the bathrooms where a vintage condom machine dispenses complimentary condoms branded with Keen.
While you can walk into the restaurant and order anything off the menu currently, the official opening date is Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Keen will be open for dinner 5-11 p.m. and serve a late night menu from 11 p.m.-2 a.m., Mondays through Saturdays. On Sundays, it will open at noon.
