Comedian Aaron Nevins, center, performs at the Adrienne Theater in Philadelphia on December 19, 2014.

Five Dollar Comedy Week, the bi-annual comedy fest, returns March 23 through March 29. The event will be held at the Plays & Players Theater and will premiere 30 new, original comedic works.

Organized by local comedians Aaron Nevins and Kate Banford, the week's lineup includes everything from interactive stand-up sets to workshops and late-night secret shows. Each show is just $5 or you can buy a wristband for the whole week for $25. Patrons pay cash at the door, but you can reserve tickets online now.

FDCW frequently sees a full house for individual shows and the size of its audience increases every year. If you want a seat at a particular show, reserve your spot now and head to the theater 30 minutes before showtime to make sure you get a good seat. But don't be late! Any reservations that haven't arrived 10 minutes prior to showtime will be released.

See the week's full lineup here and stay tuned to PhillyVoice.com for more information about Five Dollar Comedy Week.
