Meet Domino. This handsome boy, now spending his second stay with us, was recently returned because his family was moving and couldn't bring him along. No big deal, Domino's a dog who can roll with the punches.
- DOGGIE DOSSIER
- Pit bull mix
- 4 years old, medium sized
- male, neutered
You can always find him sitting quietly by his kennel door, ever the gentlemen when in his kennel. But just wait until he gets outside; Domino's very polished kennel personality erupts into a super fun and energetic dog! He loves running out in our big play yard and is a pretty formidable fetch opponent. And boy is he smart. Domino already knows basic commands such as “sit” and will do anything for a yummy treat, which means continuing his training will be a breeze.
Domino works very hard with the help of his Pen Pals, to hone his manners — things like loose leash walking with the help of a harness. Domino has come a long way in learning positive ways to get the love and attention he needs; meet him and see for yourself.

ACCT Philly strives to make adopting a pet an enjoyable, stress-free process. We ask that you bring a photo ID, proof of address and, if adopting a dog, any children or resident dogs who will be living with your new family member. After filling out a short adoption application, ACCT adoption counselors will help match you with the perfect pet.
All animals are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been examined by a veterinarian. Adoption fees and specials vary month to month and can be found on the ACCT website along with adoption locations and hours.
