U.S. Vice President Joe Biden is expected to make a run for president, according a news report.
FOX News reports that multiple sources say Biden is expected to enter the race, and the network's White House chief correspondent Ed Henry tweeted the same Monday afternoon.
Three sources close to @VP telling me he's expected to announce he is running but the sources are all urging caution on 48-hr timeline

Earlier in the day, U.S. Rep. Brendan Boyle said on Twitter that a source told him Biden was running.
I have a very good source close to Joe that tells me VP Biden will run for Prez

Boyle, who represents parts of Philadelphia and Montgomery County, also reminded his Twitter followers that former President Bill Clinton didn't enter the 1992 race until October, apparently suggesting it wasn't too late for Biden to jump in the fray.
Speculation has swirled for months as to whether Biden, a Scranton native who formerly served as a U.S. senator from Delaware, would launch a campaign.
Many believed he would, after Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton's trustworthiness was called into question by pundits and voters alike after it was revealed she used a private email address while serving as secretary of state.
But those rumors cooled after many political analysts declared Clinton the winner of the first primary debate earlier this month.
Biden has run for president twice before – in 1988 and 2008. The second time around, he was chosen as Obama's running mate after the then-Illinois senator upset Clinton for the nomination.
