In a recent ranking of top sports cities in America, Philadelphia snagged a coveted spot.

WalletHub, a personal finance website, published its "Best Sports Cities" list Friday by looking at 50 different factors across 423 cities throughout the country.
So how did Philadelphia do? The City of Brotherly Love snagged the No. 6 spot, one spot below Chicago and one above Washington, D.C.
Aside from an overall ranking, WalletHub also ranked each city by sport. Philly ranked highest in football at No. 9 and lowest in baseball, at No. 20.
WalletHub based where each city fell based on previous rankings it had done on the best cities for football, basketball, baseball, hockey and soccer.
The website also organized three separate lists for large, midsize and small cities. State College came in at the No. 5 spot while Princeton took the No. 7 spot.

4. Los Angeles
5. Chicago
6. Philadelphia
