Philadelphia police are investigating after one man was fatally shot and a second victim was injured Sunday morning in a shooting nearby a popular Center City nightclub.
The incident occurred around 2:40 a.m. outside the Reserve Lounge located in the 700 block of Arch Street, according to 6ABC.
Investigators said an altercation broke out among a group of people gathered outside, prompting a male suspect to pull out a gun and open fire.
A 29-year old victim who suffered gunshot wounds to the to the torso and face died at the scene. The second victim, a 25-year-old male, was shot once but managed to drive himself to Wilmington Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Authorities told 6ABC more than 20 shots were fired.
Witnesses from the scene are reportedly being questioned about the incident. There are no suspects in custody, no weapons were recovered and it was not immediately clear what led to the fight.
