Authorities in Ocean City have reportedly arrested and charged a man in connection with the murder of a 54-year-old woman found dead Saturday morning inside her apartment.
Around 8:40 a.m., police responded to a report of a dead woman at an apartment on the 900 block of Wesley Avenue, according to NBC10.
Upon arriving, officers found that the victim, identified as Denise Weber, had apparently been strangled to death, Philly.com reports.
An investigation by the Ocean City Police Department and the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office led authorities to 49-year-old Paul Kline, who is believed to have been in a relationship with Weber.
Prosecutors charged Kline with first-degree murder, second-degree aggravated assault and third-degree endangering an injured victim.
An autopsy was scheduled for Sunday to determine the victim's manner of death.
