The Chipotle, at 323 Lancaster Ave. in the township's Wayne section, became the target of an ongoing investigation in which narcotics officers bought marijuana from store employees, police Superintendent William Colarulo told NBC10.
Police arrested four people Wednesday afternoon after undercover officers purchased marijuana from a staff member in the parking lot of the strip mall. A half-pound of marijuana was found in another suspect's car with the aid of a K-9 officer.
Two suspects face felony charges and the other two face misdemeanor charges.
Authorities told the news station Chipotle will remain closed until the restaurant is in compliance with health department standards.
