Report: Eagles and Broncos discussed trade for Sam Bradford

Could the Bradford-Sanchez one-two punch be headed to Denver?

Earlier today, it was reported that Sam Bradford wants to be traded, and did not plan to show up for the Eagles' offseason program a mere 55 days after he signed a new contract that has already paid him $5.5 million.

The first report of an interested team in Bradford's services has emerged, and it's the reigning champion Denver Broncos, per Mike Klis of 9news.com.

The Eagles and Broncos already executed one trade for a quarterback this offseason, when Philly shipped Mark Sanchez to Denver for a conditional seventh-round pick. Sanchez is currently atop the Broncos' depth chart at quarterback, with Trevor Siemian in reserve. The Broncos have a championship caliber team (obviously), but severely lack a quarterback after Peyton Manning's retirement and the loss of Brock Osweiler in free agency to the Houston Texans.

The Broncos currently own 10 picks in the 2016 NFL Draft. They are as follows:

 RoundOverall
 131
 263
 394
 398
 4136
 5144
 5157
 6219
 7228
 7253

Stay tuned.
