After weeks of hand-wringing, including threats of holding out into the regular season, Dez Bryant has reached long term contract agreement with the Dallas Cowboys, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The #Cowboys and Dez Bryant have an agreement in principle on a 5-year, $70M deal, per sources.

That would be $14 million per season, to save you time doing the math. Ed Werder of ESPN is reporting that the guaranteed portion of the contract is $45 million.

That makes Bryant the second highest paid receiver in the NFL.
Bryant had 88 catches for 1320 yards and 16 TDs a year ago. He killed the Eagles last year in the second matchup, repeatedly burning Bradley Fletcher and Nate Allen to the tune of 6 catches for 114 yards and 3 TDs. The Eagles beefed up their secondary over the offseason, signing Byron Maxwell to a big-money deal, and drafting three cornerbacks. They won't get a break from Bryant this season.
