Kathleen Kane, Pennsylvania's embattled attorney general, recently promoted and gave a raise to a man she had suspended for his involvement in a porn e-mail sharing ring, according to The Morning Call of Allentown.
Kane, who is set to appear in court Monday on charges she leaked grand jury material, has repeatedly claimed she was targeted because she had exposed the e-mails, gave the man a 16 percent raise, according to the paper.
Supervisory agent Louis C. DeTitto, a member of her executive protection detail, had his salary boosted to $93,927 and elevated him from an "agent 4" to "agent 5" on July 6, just eight months after she had given him a 10-day suspension, unidentified sources told the paper.
