A hot dog vending truck or trailer appears to have exploded Saturday morning in the small bayside town of Tuckerton in Ocean County, New Jersey.
An explosion at 4:45 a.m. pulverized the mobile wiener cart, sending debris across North Green Street and Second Avenue, according to the Tuckerton Fire Department.
"The explosion could be heard for miles," the department wrote on it Facebook page.
The department sent three engines, a rescue truck and an ambulance.
While some homes near Railroad Avenue were struck by debris, there were no reports of injuries, according to the fire department. There was no fire.
The cause of the explosion is being investigated by the Ocean County Fire Marshall's Office and Ocean County Prosecutors Office.
