On Sunday, Dec. 27, Reading Terminal Market will open its demonstration kitchen to host a junior high cooking class at 12:45 p.m. and a high school class at 2 p.m. Both groups will learn cooking techniques, safety, sanitation and plate presentation.
The price for students in high school is $43.19; students 9 years old through junior high will pay $37.92 to attend.
Since the classes are scheduled to begin after the holidays, it might make a thoughtful gift for an aspiring young chef.
