Music superstar and well-documented oddball Prince is known almost as well for his strange antics as he is for his chart-topping hits.
Which is why you might not be shocked by Philly native Questlove's revelation about an odd experience he had with the musician in the City of Brotherly Love about a decade back.

In the animated video narrated by The Roots' drummer, he explains he had tickets to Prince's "Musicology" tour in Philly, which took place at the Wachovia Center (now the Wells Fargo Center) back in 2004.
However, he miscalculated how many tickets he needed for him and his friends, and noted that The Roots weren't as widely known then as they are today, meaning he couldn't just throw his weight around for an extra seat.
This led to him offering to DJ an after party for Prince, but that didn't go according to plan, as Prince eventually replaced his music with a DVD of the movie "Finding Nemo." Questlove actually tweeted about this strange encounter back in November 2015:
