With summer pop-up season in full swing, yet another temporary beer garden has made its debut, soon welcoming a famous Philadelphian.
Fish Tank, which opened over Memorial Day weekend at 23 E. Allen St. next to the Fillmore Philadelphia in Fishtown, will welcome The Roots' Questlove as a guest DJ during its second weekend in business.

The beer garden is a collaboration between the Fillmore, Punch Line Philly, and Philadelphia Distilling that will run every weekend through Labor Day. Guests can expect different DJs, themes, and specials each week.
This Sunday, June 3, you can catch Questlove as part of a Sundae dance party. Though most events at the Fish Tank are free, this event will cost $11 a ticket, with proceeds benefiting the Music Forward Foundation. Kids get free admission. Other events on the horizon include a '90s/'00s dance party on June 30.
The other beer garden standards we've come to expect will also be there: picnic tables, twinkling lights, and outdoor games are all part of the mix.
Canned beer, frozen drinks, and cocktails featuring Philadelphia Distilling liquor are on the drinking menu, with small bites, including falafel and fried pickles, available to eat.
The beer garden will be open Saturdays from 7:00 p.m. to midnight and Sundays from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Leashed dogs are welcome.
