A prison guard was stabbed by an inmate at a Northeast Philadelphia prison Wednesday.
6 ABC reports that the unidentified guard was stabbed multiple times at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility on the 7900 block of State Road.
The guard was taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital and is in unknown condition.
According to NBC Philadelphia, the prison is on lockdown and visitations have been cancelled for the night.
