It’s overreaction Monday, but with the way that the Eagles completely dismantled the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon at The Linc, how much can we really overreact?
OK, maybe it’s not time to start booking hotel rooms in Houston for the first week of February just yet. Still, it’s more than fair to say that Doug Pederson’s team has been fantastic in racing out to this 3-0 start. Matched up against a team widely viewed as a Super Bowl contender heading into Sunday’s game, they orchestrated a serious beatdown.

Looking back at our Eagles season predictions from a few weeks ago, Jimmy Kempski and I had the Birds finishing at 7-9 while Matt Mullin slotted them at 6-10. After the Sam Bradford trade, these might have been considered optimistic among Philadelphians.
Not anymore, as the expectations have been raised. The Eagles earned three wins, and none of them were flukes. Even the Browns, widely considered the worst team in the league, easily could be 2-1 after losing a couple of heartbreakers in weeks 2 and 3. The Eagles were the only team that blew Cleveland out.
After this hot start, we would imagine that the Eagles have raised everyone’s expectations. So our question to you is a simple one: Now that you have seen them play three times, how many wins do you think the Birds will finish with?
