Police are investigating after a West Chester University student was reportedly shot off campus early Sunday morning.
According an alert from the university's department of public safety, the incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Boxwood Alley behind the 500 block of South High Street.
The department says the unidentified male student was taken to the hospital after being shot. His condition and other details regarding the shooting were not immediately released.
