A woman accused of stealing bags of Wawa coffee and returning the merchandise to other stores for money has been caught.
Rebecca Julian, 48, of Wilmington, Delaware, allegedly admitted on Friday to the thefts and fraudulent returns, according to the West Goshen Township Police Department.
Earlier this week, authorities released store surveillance video that showed a woman walking into a store, stealing bags of coffee and traveling to another store to return them for cash.
Wawa representatives believe she is responsible for approximately 40-50 thefts that occurred across southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland and began in early 2016.
The woman is alleged to have stolen $3,000 to date, police said.
Charges are pending against Julian, who was later released from police custody.
